Built a Cozy Hut on Top of Fallen Trees. Bushcraft Survival

Using only natural materials and a sharp knife, I built a cozy survival hut atop a crisscross of fallen trees. The elevated platform kept me dry and safe from ground moisture and critters. I wove flexible branches into a sturdy frame, then layered thick pine boughs and bark shingles for insulation and rain runoff. A small, controlled fire pit nearby provided warmth and a place to boil water. Inside, a bed of soft cedar boughs offered surprising comfort. Sheltered by forest canopy and my handcrafted walls, I slept soundly—proof that with skill and patience, nature provides everything needed to thrive in the wild.
