Deep in the jungle, survival begins with shelter. I chose a dry, elevated spot near a clear stream, ensuring fresh water and drainage. Using sturdy hardwood logs, I crafted a raised foundation to avoid dampness and wildlife. The walls are tightly fitted logs with moss for insulation, topped with a slanted roof of palm leaves to repel rain. A small fire pit sits just outside, shielded from wind. This cabin is my sanctuary—secure, warm, and close to nature’s rhythm. Every log placed means hope, resilience, and life sustained in the wild heart of the jungle.
