Nestled amongst ancient oaks, our journey began with careful site selection, respecting the land’s spirit. We shaped a gentle mound, reinforcing it with stone and timber, weaving the structure into the earth itself. Round, wooden doors and deep-set windows framed views of ferns and moss. Hand-hewn beams formed the arched ceiling, while a living roof, seeded with wildflowers, bloomed over time. Inside, warm light glowed from wrought-iron fixtures, illuminating shelves built into the earth walls. The scent of woodsmoke and damp earth mingled as the final stone was laid. It wasn’t just built—it grew, a quiet, earthy haven whispering tales of comfort and timeless magic, perfectly hidden yet welcoming all who find it.
