I found myself in the Middle of a Lightning STORM

I found myself in the middle of a lightning storm — heart pounding, sky roaring. Jagged bolts split the heavens, illuminating the drenched earth in electric blue flashes. Rain lashed sideways; thunder shook the ground beneath my boots. Alone, exposed, I crouched low, breath shallow, counting seconds between strikes. Nature’s fury humbled me — no shelter, no control. In that raw, trembling moment, awe eclipsed fear. I was insignificant, yet profoundly alive. When silence finally returned, dripping and dazed, I rose — changed. The storm hadn’t broken me. It had awakened me. Power doesn’t always destroy. Sometimes, it reveals.
