Building my hanging tree house with only hand tools was a rewarding challenge. I started by selecting a sturdy oak tree with strong, horizontal branches. Using a handsaw, I cut and shaped support beams from thick branches and scrap wood. With patience, I notched beams and secured them using ropes and wooden pegs instead of nails. A ladder made from salvaged wood allowed access. Over weeks, I added walls, a roof, and even a small trapdoor, all crafted by hand. The process strengthened my connection to nature and taught me the value of simplicity and perseverance in DIY projects.
