Beneath a thick canopy of evergreens, I construct a shelter using fallen branches and dense foliage. The snow-covered ground is cleared, and a frame is built against a sturdy tree trunk. Layers of pine boughs insulate the floor, trapping body heat. A small fire pit is dug nearby, providing warmth without risk. The entrance is low, blocking cold winds. Blankets and survival gear add comfort. In this snowy forest, the shelter blends with nature, offering safety and warmth. Alone but secure, I endure winter’s chill, relying on skill, preparation, and the forest’s quiet protection through the long, freezing night.
